Exclusive Private Land Hunts
Wilderness Hunts
Off Peak Hunts
Exclusive private land and helicopter transport. Exclusive private land
is hunted for the deer species and helicopter transport is used for the
alpine species. This hunt works in well for a compact minimum duration
and is easily combined with a non hunter as serviced accommodation is
used the majority of the time.
Wilderness Hunts are made
up with a separate daily fee and trophy fee, and generally have only a
small amount of serviced accommodation but with intensive 4WD transport.
Tent camps and alpine huts are closer to terrain suited for this very
much alpine hunt.
Off Peak Hunts are over
the spring and summer season, and because the days are longer a backpack
or a helicopter drop off is the usual. Tahr and Chamois are the best trophies
to hunt during this season, as the deer species are growing their new
antler. Tent camps and alpine hut accommodation is normal.
Combination
Hunts
Individual Trophies are available, though our most popular package hunts
include the 4 species: Red Stag, Himalayan Tahr, Alpine Chamois, and Fallow
Stag.
7 Day Four Species Combination Hunt
With Red Stag, Himalayan Tahr, Alpine Chamois, Fallow Stag.
This package caters for hunters who wish to take more game in a reasonable
amount of time. Other species as with Wapiti, Ram, Goat, Boar, and small
game can be added within the hunt structure or a few days can be added
if required.
10 Day Four Species Combination Hunt
(With Scenic Tour & Companion)
With Red Stag (sliver medal), Himalayan Tahr, Alpine Chamois, Fallow Stag
along with the best of the scenic routes and activities in the mid to
lower South Island all included with accompanying companion free.
This package is an ideal opportunity for the non hunter to attend, as
we have built into this hunt a scenic tour, and added activities such
as glacier helicopter flight, jet boat thrill and scenic harbour cruise.

Most of our guides have been with us for over 15 years & hunters
references are readily available.
We request hunting groups be no more than 4 hunters, however if
you hunt as a 1x1 unit, you will not see other hunters at our base
camps.

Wilderness Hunts
Our minimum Wilderness Hunt is over a 2 day period, with the longest Wilderness
Hunt taking no more than 14 days.
Tahr, Red Stag, Chamois and Fallow Stag, are the most popular game hunted.
Tahr and Chamois make for an ideal winter hunt.
